Artist Statement
I paint with a variety of acrylic media on canvas, paper or gessoboard building a depth of textured forms. I use brushes, plastic cards and other found objects to shape the media. The textured surfaces provide a grounding for colorful as well as white on white compositions. My inspiration emerges from nature images. These images evolve within a life cycle of observation, and experimentation.
